The Knowledge Network for Age Friendly Built Form and Infrastructure Design is designed to be an accessible knowledge portal, for the effective diffusion of the specific data generated through studies and surveys done as part of the Age-Friendly Built Form and Infrastructure Design Model and Knowledge Networking project.

The intent of launching this network with multiple nodal centers, was to ensure that the heterogeneity of the nation is reflected to a considerable extent in the data collected, for it to serve as a more effective blue print for planning & design practices in the near future compared to existing reference standards.

The network is expected to grow in an organic way, and become an important resource pool, as well as a revenue generating system for researchers sharing novel data.
